American Journal of Microbiology & Biochemistry (AJMB) is an open access peer reviewed and high impact journal that imagines itself as a research forum visualizing major developments in the field of microbiology and biochemistry. AJMB completely covers the chemistry and biology of all microbial forms i.e., acellular, unicellular, and multicellular microorganisms (prokaryotic & eukaryotic).

Aims and Scope


The scope of the journal contains studies of enzymes; mechanisms of enzymatic reactions; biosynthesis and biogenesis of physiologically active compounds and the pathways of their regulation; biocatalysis in organic synthesis; and metabolic engineering and features Scholarly Articles on virology, parasitology, mycology and bacteriology. The manuscripts illustrating the application of microbiology in related fields like pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical & clinical and biochemistry are also published.

AJMB is an exclusively designed Scientific Journal for the international community that addresses ongoing study/research on microorganisms of extraordinary academic, environmental, industrial, economic, and biomedical importance.
