Annals of Case Report and Images in Surgery (ACRIS) is an international, peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that publishes case reports in all areas on different types of diseases. Case Reports is a detailed report of symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment follow up on individual patient. Case reports can play important role in medical education, providing a structure for case-based learning.
Case reports / Case series can be prospective or retrospective and examine the effects of an intervention in more than one patient. All case reports and case series submitted need to comply with the relevant reporting criteria. Annals of Case Report and Images in Surgery covers all surgical specialities. It is dedicated to publish case reports and case series. Articles must be authentic, ethical and innovative. Trainees and researchers in all surgical subspecialties, educational clinically interesting to an international audience of surgeons and as well as clinicians in related fields. It describes and interprets an individual case, often written in the form of a detailed story which helps in the identification of new trends or diseases.
